If you want to create something truely unique and handmade for this holiday season,  there are plenty of Christmas craft ideas that you can do with the help of the cyanotypes process. Below are some examples that hopefully will inpire you:

What you need to create your cyanotype christmas craft:

  • cyanotype set, brush and paper that is thick enough to withstand the washing process and works well with cyanotypes (our starter kits contain all of these items)
    or
  • pre coated cyanotype paper
  • blank cards
  • something to hold your artwork during exposure eg. old picture frame
  • christmas themed objects, leaves, flowers and/or printed transparencies
  • a place to wash out the prints after they have been exposed
  • and sunshine (around noon gives the fastest and best results)
